Yes. The HyperSmoke™ is designed for all gasoline vehicles and most light-duty diesel systems. Just ensure you follow the safety guidelines, use in well-ventilated areas, and never operate it with the engine running.
You can diagnose leaks in:
- EVAP systems
- Vacuum lines
- Intake systems
- Exhaust systems
- Fuel vapor lines
Basically, anything sealed that shouldn't leak — this machine finds it.
It runs directly off any 12V DC battery (your car battery works perfectly). No external air compressor or wall outlet required.
Normal Mode (0–7 PSI): For intake, vacuum, exhaust testing and more
EVAP Mode (0–1 PSI): For EVAP system diagnostics (low-pressure sensitive components)
Switching modes takes seconds via the pressure knob.
Yes. Each unit includes a starter bottle of AutoLine Pro Smoke Fluid, specifically engineered for thick, visible, OEM-approved output.
We strongly recommend using AutoLine Pro Smoke Fluid only. It's optimized for visibility, safety, and system longevity. Other fluids may clog, underperform, or void your warranty.
There are a few methods depending on the system:
- EVAP: Use the gas cap adapter or EVAP service port
- Intake: Use the included cone or DIY latex glove adapter
- Exhaust: Insert the cone into the tailpipe and seal the other end
